I cannot, as you can,
Drag ephemerality down,
And deftly persuade her
To change her nature:
Immortalise, with a few deft strokes,
A fleeting smile,
An averted face,
Curls, cascading just so;
But must resort, therefore,
To clumsy words,
Which must number a thousand
To strive against your art,
And even then can only echo
That which you portray;
But 'tis all I have,
And all I can hope for
Is your satisfaction
At this inferior portrayal
By an indifferent artist.

you know what? I hardly get time to paint and sketch, sometimes I feel that I'll put an end to all this cuz it's very frustrating when you don't practice for ages and suddenly oneday you want to do a portait and then you find it difficult...find difficult to do summin that you have grown up with, summin that's still a part of your and moreover summin that enables you to express exactly what you feel for certain people. Kintu ebaar theke konodin-o erom mone hole tor ei kobita-ta porey nebo. I'll sketch many more portraits.
yea!:D
glad you liked it, darling.
:)
and come on this is not an "...inferior portrayal
by an indifferent artist"
this is very significant, atleast to the person for whom you have written this.
